IGN.com gave PGR 3 its Best Xbox 360™ Racing/Driving Game and Best Licensed Soundtrack awards. IGN.com also selected Bizarre Creations as the Best Xbox 360 Developer and named Bizarre's Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (which is included in PGR 3) as the Best Xbox Live® Arcade Game.

Gamespot.com bestowed two best-of 2005 honors on PGR3. It named PGR 3 the Best Xbox 360 Game, while the game's soundtrack collected top honors in the Best Licensed Music category.
