PGR 3 U.S. Global Tournament
Put your skills to the test and compete online to win a free trip to the Lamborghini factory in Italy by registering for the PGR 3 U.S. Global Tournament, sponsored by Verizon.
Xbox Live® and Bizarre Creations are launching a Project Gotham Racing® 3 Global Tournament. The Global Tournament is broken down into three regions: Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Verizon is generously sponsoring the U.S. portion of the tournament.
The top 64 players from each region’s Global Tournament qualifiers move on to compete in their country’s regional tournament. The top four qualifiers from each regional tournament, for a total of twelve, move on to compete in the PGR 3 Global Tournament finals in Sant’Agata, Italy. These skillful players will also get a chance to compete in the World Cyber Games country finals.
Registration for the U.S. region’s Global Tournament event opens on Thursday, April 6 and closes on Friday, April 28. The U.S. Global Tournament qualifiers begin on Monday, April 17, and end on Sunday, April 30.
Prospective participants need an Xbox 360, an Xbox 360 storage device (Hard Drive or Memory Unit), broadband Internet access, a copy of the PGR 3 video game, a Gamertag, and Xbox Live® Gold membership. Once you’re on board with the required criteria, start Project Gotham Racing 3, sign on with your Gamertag, select Gotham Career, select Tournaments, and then select PGR 3 Global Tournament. Eligible registered players are automatically placed in matches. Next, it’s up to you to qualify for the regional tournament and beyond!
